San Diego Invisalign treatment from Fremont Dental Arts, a premier invisalign provider
Invisalign® is orthodontics
without using metal braces. A great way to close gaps,Invisalign straightens crowded teeth, corrects minor cross bites, and corrects relapsed previous orthodontic treatment. Most of our Invisalign® patients are adults and really don't want the rest of the world to know that they have braces.
Sometimes even their closest friends don't even know that they are wearing aligners.
How Long Does Invisalign Take?
Most treatments take about one year to complete plus or minus
3-6 months. Some of our teenage patients want to do Invisalign®, but I tell them if they lose the trays they will incur additional charges and lose time remaking trays. Only very responsible teenagers should opt for Invisalign® treatment.
How Does Invisalign Work?
Invisalign® uses clear, removable trays to move teeth. They are CAD/CAM designed and are a series of custom made aligners varying in numbers from 15-35 sets. The patient changes these trays every 2 weeks which allows the teeth to be moved gently into their correct positions.
The patient must wear these trays 23 out of the 24 hours per day unlike conventional braces which are worn all the time. Invisalign® allows you to eat without the trays and to properly clean your teeth before replacing the aligners on your teeth again.
